Yep - go take a sonic skinny dipping in the audio pool of the new ep "blackmail". It is hot and cool at the same time, and they're the last tones from yours truly. Except of course from the 2008 compilation which also features a previously unreleased cover of "touchdown jesus" (boo radleys) and a cover - that some of you may have heard earlier in 2008 - of "teenage lust" (jmc). Plus of course all our bonus tracks in spiffed up versions. If you like our songs but just never got around to actually owning them on your computer, do go grab the lot on itunes or whereever you prefer.

And so - this is the end. Thanks to everyone listening, helping, and loving. It was beautiful while it was burning.

Good news and not so splendid news: ONBC will be saying goodbye and farewell to everyone. One day all journeys come to an end, and for ONBC it has come due to private affairs and a feeling that we have given all we could and more in this little land. SO - that's tough. BUT - on the fair side we now have the date for the release of our final ep "Blackmail" and the 2008 compilation "Shameless Pop Songs". They will be out on Feb 22nd. Thanks to all, though we will of course get back for a final goodbye on the day of release.

IT'S BEEN A MONTH - holy Moses. Here's the news: X-mas, New Year (and have a happy one), Crisis, Banks, Pneumonia, Work Work Work and Obama, the Man with the Plan. Apart from those trivia, we've been little cyclones: We're working to finish the last ep for 2008. (WHAT?!? Did he say 2008? But... we're... in... 2009 now?!?) Yes we are. As shocking as it may seem, these recordings are from 2008 and we will release them along with the 2008 compilation. In February. 2009. I know. It is very demanding for the slow human brain, but... we did put a man to the Moon and so we will equally prevail here. (WHAT?!? Did onbc put a moon on the Moon? Yeeeeeeeees.... we did. His name is Ungül and is currently building himself a little house out of dust and debris from the impact. If you get awfully drunk and squint your eye, you can almost see him waving to you.) Now. That did not make sense. Oh, blackmail will be... bells and pop. You'll love it. Or.... not.

while over/out is leading a sweet life out there on it's own we've selected the next 3 tunes to appear on the final 2008 ep due to be released in early February 2009. But.... 2009 is not.... 2008?!? Are you confused? So is our label. But the truth is that without these three songs the 2008 compilation just doesn't make sense to us. The a-side will be "blackmail" and it will feature the most beautiful male voice in Denmark, and we ain't talking about Ivan's. No. But... ya'll have to wait for that one... :-) The recordings will commence on thursday.

The bunny's out of the hat. And I'm not talking about GNR Chinese democracy. The even bigger world sensation over/out has finally hit your ears and eyes. It took us 14 years and 14 mio $ plus an extreme amount of guitarists to complete this marathon of an epic crooner's dream. We're all new band members too: Ixl, Caxl and Maxl. Great news, right? Jesus mon amour, what crazy times.

Hey, we're editing the new video like little ants on a cheese. It'll be like - ya'll know - something different. Which is good. It's very... eh... nude. Had we been any better at what we're doing, it would be very cheesey, but fortunately we're not, so it's still indie - pheeeeew! Aaaaanyway, here's the big news: all of our videos are now up on this site. We've discovered the sparkling world of Flash. Quite proudly so... but because it is not done yet, and because we're strategic twats, the new video for over/out is not on the page yet. Ya'll have to wait for that one.

It's been more than month ince the last update. We have been ever so busy recording for the new ep, over/out. We have been in Malmö, Sweeden and Copenhagen to make the first collaboration with ever so coolio Marcus from bakers at dawn. We've been shooting for the most to-da-limit video in our time and we've been making new songs for the next ep to come out in about 3 months time along with the 2008 heavy duty compilation.

in case you didn't notice we didn't last on DEB. Such a shame, but that is what happens to poor music. This will be corrected with the next ep.We've recorded the vocals for the next single and it is hot hot hot. Also, the Great Marcus from Bakers at Dawn has mixed the first b-side, run! And it sounds velly velly cuhl! It will be fantastic. Our JAMC cover is still doing great out there, and hmmmm... what else? Oh, I (Mikkel) just wrote a lot of fab new songs because I was feeling sad.

We're in Sweden now recording the next ep this time having the great Marcus from Bakers at Dawn producing. The band next to us is playing funky monkey stuff but our tunes sound like candy&sex. In fact, being the first time ever that we've alowed anyone to have a say on our music it's going really well. We think this will be a fantastic ep. The title is "tonight" and is due to be released in... November!

It happened on Sunday. We were squashed by two other Danish bands and are now #3 on DEB. Still, we are more than happy. We've done an interview with the program, and if you hear it you can hear the nasty soft tones of our version of Jesus and Mary Chain Teenage Lust. We're quite proud of it. Got to DEB on Friday, the interview should be up sometime then, incl. the song

Oh boy... we just returned from the US to the news of not only having been tested on Det Elektriske Barometer - but also having seized the sweet no. 1 one week later ahead of many really great bands. DEB is the coolest alternative hitlist on Danish National Radio, so quite naturally we're quite happy and very surprised.

It's in our blood - we're releasing a new ep again. Holy Wars is the name and you may listen at the dedicated mini site. We're so proud - it's dirty French inspired drama mixed with garage sound and the likes. And we're proud to bring you new remixes from fantastic Tiny Microphone and I like where I live. We say it every time, but this time we mean it too - it's absolutely astonishing and both mixes make us sound like amateurs - which we are!
